Solar Energy
Look after the planet and your budget
Join us on a path to a greener and more economic future by generating your own electricity for your business with solar.
Power your business
What will solar do for my business?
We are helping businesses across the UK work towards Net Zero by choosing greener energy to power their sites. We can help you achieve your sustainability goals by installing solar panels – generating renewable energy to reduce your business’s carbon footprint and reduce energy costs.
Go green, go solar
Greater energy independence will cut your monthly energy bills, all while reducing your businesses carbon footprint in the process.
See what energy you’re generating every day
Once your solar panels are installed, you’ll be able to see what energy they’re producing (and how much your saving) on a daily basis!
Take control of your energy
By generating your own electricity, you can protect your business against future energy price increases.

Case studies
Utilita Bowl
Becoming the world’s greenest cricket ground
With 1,044 solar panels installed, the Utilita Bowl in Southampton will generate 400,000 kWh of renewable energy every year, with a saving of 80 tonnes of carbon per year and a predicted return on investment of 5 years.
Portsmouth FC
Greener energy for the community
Portsmouth FC’s affiliated not-for-profit charity installed 358 solar panels on their new, purpose-built stadium. It’s expected to generate an estimated 122,570 kWh of power per year, meaning the site will save 25 tonnes of carbon emissions, and £61,000 in energy costs each year.

Supporting your sustainability goals
Step 1
Contact us
Get in touch using the form below and one of our Business Development Managers (BDM) will be in touch within 48 hours to talk you through your options.
Step 2
Proposal
Your BDM will run you through our initial proposal and make sure everything is to your liking. Once you're happy, we'll book your site survey and your switch to solar will be one step closer.
Step 3
Site survey and quote
Our team will assess your site for your custom solar needs, providing a detailed work schedule and quote showing potential savings.
Step 4
Hassle-free install
After a final site inspection, we’ll book your install at a time that suits you! We handle the DNO approval process for you, and once your panels are installed, we’ll provide you all the relevant documentation and certificates and show you how to get the best from your new power source.
Step 5
Save with green energy
Start noticing savings from day one! We’ll be there on the day of your switch to show you how to monitor the electricity your new solar panels are generating, what energy is coming from the grid, and the £££s you’ll be saving from producing your own green energy. It’s as simple as that.

FAQs
-
Yes, although you will need the landlords' consent to install the solar panels.
-
Some sites don’t need planning permission for solar panels as it can be installed under Permitted Development rights.
-
Solar photovoltaic (PV) systems are extremely robust. We only install ‘Tier 1’ solar modules with industry leading 25-year warranties. Our inverters have a standard 5-year warranty that can be extended to 20 years. All our work comes with a 2-year workmanship guarantee.
-
Rather than relying on the grid for your energy, the only thing you need to rely on when you go solar is the sun. Our solar panels are made out of semi-conducting materials, which means they are able to harness sunlight as it makes contact – creating an electrical current and powering your site directly.
-
Solar panels will still generate electricity during cloudy weather, rain or any other period of indirect sunlight, just not as efficiently. Solar panels are most efficient in direct sunlight and will generate less electricity during cloudy conditions.
-
We can install batteries for sites that are in operation overnight (when the sun isn’t shining on the panels) but most commercial sites drive value from solar only. All installs allow batteries to be fitted at a later date should it become economical to do so.
-
With a south-facing roof, your solar panels will produce the greatest amount of energy overall. Although East or West-facing roofs also work very well and will produce energy for a large portion of the day. North-facing roofs are the most unfavourable option for solar panels, since they receive very little direct sunlight.
-
Most roof types are suitable for solar panels. However solar panels aren’t suitable if the roof is in a bad condition, and isn’t suitable for thatched roofs, timber shingles, asbestos sheets, or roofs with limited space.
-
As a rule of thumb, you would need approx. 6m2 per 1 kW of PV. As an example, if you had a 1000m2 area of roof this would equate to a system of 166kWp (1000/6 = 166)
-
Yes, we offer an Operations and Maintenance (O&M) contract which enables us to remotely monitor the array, allowing our technicians to adjust parameters for maximum performance. If the system is underperforming, we can act swiftly, eliminating the risk of lengthy downtime.
-
There is no evidence that the fire risks associated with solar energy are any greater than those for any other electrical equipment. However, it is very important to ensure that PV systems are correctly designed, competently installed and regularly maintained by companies certified by the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS).

-
This will depend on the size of the site. Your BDM will be able to give you an estimation once the site survey is completed.
-
Yes, but the charge will be deducted from your bill once the installation is completed.
-
Yes! You’ll be able to see how your panels are performing in real time on our digital platform, along with how much energy is being generated, and how much money and carbon you’re saving.
